So I did. I stood in front of students. I watched the moment things clicked for them. I stayed late to answer questions. I showed up early to prepare. Teaching wasn’t just a job for me — it was the thing I felt like I was born to do.

I had a family to think about. Responsibilities that don’t wait. And as much as I loved being in that classroom, I had to make a hard decision.
